Upland Bird Hunting at the 10-2-4 Ranch is guaranteed to have a lot of action and be a memorable experience. Hunt a mixed bag of ring neck pheasant, chucker, and bobwhite quail. At the ranch, you will hunt over dogs which include German short-hair pointers, Brittney’s, Labs, and English setters. Your professional guide will lead you in a three hour hunt. There is no bag limit on birds. We recommend 12, 20 or 28 gauge shotguns with an improved cylinder choke. 7.5 or 8 oz shot works perfectly to bring the birds down and not damage the meat. House guns are available to guests at no additional cost. Lunch is included in the hunt package as well as a blaze orange 10-2-4 Ranch cap. Your guide will clean and process your birds for you to take home in a 10-2-4 Ranch cooler. We are located in Commerce, Texas one hour from DFW. Overnight lodging and accommodations are available in our beautiful 11,000 square foot lodge. Other activities include fishing, 5-stand shooting, cantina billiard building, and ranch tours.
